Job Description: **Job title** Long‑Term Internship – Data Analyst **Role Summary** Collect, interrogate, and analyze large data sets to support business decisions. Ensure data quality, maintain automated processes, and develop dashboards and Alteryx workflows under guidance. **Expectations** Deliver accurate, timely analytical outputs and dashboards. Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and clear communication with stakeholders. Complete training on internal tools and adhere to quality and compliance standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Query and extract data from large databases using SQL. - Clean, validate, and ensure data integrity for downstream use. - Design, build, and automate data workflows with Alteryx. - Create and update weekly/monthly dashboards and reports using Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). - Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and present findings. - Monitor and troubleshoot automated processes to maintain reliability. **Required Skills** - Proficient in SQL querying. - Strong data manipulation and analysis skills. - Experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas). - Familiarity with workflow automation tools (Alteryx or equivalent). - Excellent analytical, synthesis, and written communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively and engage stakeholders. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrolled in a Master’s program (Finance, Audit, Management Control, Banking/Insurance, Decision‑Science, MIAGE, or related). - Minimum of 6–12 months of practical experience in data analysis or a related internship (preferred). - No formal certification required, but knowledge of BI tools and data governance will be advantageous.
