Job Description
**Job title:** QA/QC Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) **Role Summary:** Oversee quality assurance and control for mechanical and electrical systems on large‑scale construction projects, including data centres. Implement on‑site QA/QC procedures, manage inspections, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and support audits and handovers. **Expectations:** - Execute and maintain the QA/QC system throughout project lifecycle. - Coordinate inspections, non‑conformance resolution, and corrective actions. - Facilitate weekly QA/QC meetings and document management. - Provide training to QC inspectors and support project handovers. - Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and manage on‑site QA/QC procedures. - Coordinate inspections with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives. - Review, distribute, and maintain QA/QC documentation. - Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. - Manage non‑conformance reports and corrective actions. - Support internal and external audits. - Oversee quality documentation for project handover. - Conduct and chair weekly QA/QC meetings. - Review technical specifications and provide training to QC inspectors. - Monitor and report on the implementation of the site QC plan. **Required Skills:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - QA/QC experience in construction, preferably MEP systems and data centre environments. - Strong understanding of construction codes and standards. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Deltek. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities. - Fluent in English; French is a plus. - Eligibility to work in France required. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - CQM certification preferred.
