**Job Title:** Azure Cloud Security Architect
**Role Summary:**
Lead technical design and architecture for enterprise Azure solutions, focusing on secure, scalable, and AI‑enabled systems. Serve as primary architect for PoVs, accelerators, and customer workshops, ensuring secure compliance and high quality production-ready delivery.
**Expactations:**
- 5+ years’ design/architecture experience in Azure, plus extensive software engineering background.
- Proven ability to craft end‑to‑end secure architectures, including microservices, APIs, modern UI, data, and AI/ML components.
- Hands‑on consulting during PoV/PoC and workshop engagements.
- Mentor engineering staff in AI best practices, cloud patterns, and security governance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure architectures integrating AI/ML, microservices, APIs, UI, and data stores.
- Lead architecture and code reviews; enforce standards, security, and governance compliance.
- Guide PoV/PoC workshops, troubleshoot technical challenges, and validate AI‑driven designs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and Enterprise Architects to align on feasibility, AI strategy, and delivery schedules.
- Promote and adopt emerging AI frameworks, agentic tools, and cloud services to accelerate quality and innovation.
- Mentor engineers on cloud architecture, reusable patterns, and AI/ML best practices.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep Azure platform expertise (compute, networking, storage, governance).
- Architectural design of microservices, API gateways, event‑driven streaming, and modern UI frameworks.
- Design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models, agentic systems, and automation workflows.
- Strong security knowledge (IAM, encryption, compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Proven PoV/PoC creation and rapid solution delivery.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC (ARM/Resource Manager, Terraform, Bicep).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305, or equivalent (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate, Data Engineer Associate) and security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
