**Job Title:** Sales Intern **Role Summary:** Provide hands‑on sales experience by engaging physicians and healthcare stakeholders, conducting outbound prospecting, and managing sales pipeline activities in a real‑time medical sales environment. **Expectations:** - Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program. - Demonstrated interest in sales or participation in a sales‑focused group. - Strong verbal and written communication. - Comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and building rapport. - Team‑oriented, collaborative, and eager for professional growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and cultivate relationships with physicians using inbound leads, prospecting lists, and research. - Execute cold calls, navigate gatekeepers, and address objections to advance prospects. - Perform territory mapping: analyze economic, industry, and health‑system trends. - Develop and deliver a persuasive pitch highlighting the company’s value proposition. - Schedule and coordinate calls and meetings with key stakeholders, including C‑suite executives. - Log and update prospect activity in Salesforce and Bullhorn; maintain accurate pipeline data. - Participate in daily team huddles, cross‑departmental meetings, and weekly one‑on‑one check‑ins. **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Proficiency with outbound prospecting and call scripts. - Ability to navigate and update CRM systems (Salesforce, Bullhorn). - Research and analytical skills for territory mapping. - Strong listening skills and objection‑handling techniques. - Self‑motivated, adaptable, and collaborative. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program. - Sales minor or membership in a sales‑focused organization preferred. - No specific certifications required.
