**Job Title**
Senior Software Engineer – Monitor Experience
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, development, and delivery of the Monitor Web Portal and associated capabilities. Own the engineering lifecycle from architecture through release, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that support child digital safety operations.
**Expectations**
* 5+ years of senior engineering experience.
* Proven track record designing systems at scale and driving end‑to‑end product delivery.
* Strong polyglot skill set with expertise in React, Go, cloud platforms (GCP preferred, Azure/AWS), and IaC (Terraform).
* Excellent communication, ownership, and collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Architect and develop scalable front‑end and back‑end components for the Monitor Web Portal using React and Go.
2. Design, implement, and optimize distributed services, APIs, and data models for high availability and performance.
3. Provision and manage cloud infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
4. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices for maintainability and quality.
5. Collaborate with product, design, and QA in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
6. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
7. Perform performance tuning, security assessments, and incident response for production systems.
8. Lead MVP experiments, feature roll‑outs, and post‑release optimization.
9. Integrate C# components when required for platform migrations.
**Required Skills**
* Senior‑level software engineering experience (5+ yrs).
* Proficiency in React, Go, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred; Azure/AWS).
* Strong knowledge of IaC with Terraform.
* Experience designing scalable micro‑services and distributed systems.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
* Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging patterns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder collaboration.
* Ability to produce clean, well‑documented, well‑tested code.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
* Cloud platform certifications (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
* C# development experience is a plus for migration work.
