Job title: Program Manager – Application Development & Cloud Migration Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end program execution for mobile/web application initiatives and oversee Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) migration projects. Align technical delivery with business objectives and ensure successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget. Expectations: - Drive cross‑functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, product) to deliver high‑quality mobile and web applications. - Own Azure→GCP migration program, delivering modernization, performance, and cost savings. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners. - Apply Agile/Scrum, SDLC, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Define program scope, roadmap, milestones, and success metrics; develop comprehensive plans. - Manage multiple interdependent projects, track risks, dependencies, timelines, and budgets; resolve issues proactively. - Own Azure to GCP migration: plan, execute, stabilize; coordinate with cloud architects, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams. - Oversee data migration, CI/CD pipeline updates, cloud‑native adoption, and cost optimization on GCP. - Provide technical oversight for iOS, Android, and cross‑platform mobile development; collaborate on system design and scalability. - Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, CI/CD, and DevOps principles. - Review technical deliverables for quality, security, and performance standards. - Serve as primary point of contact for business stakeholders and senior leadership; translate business requirements into actionable technical programs. - Prepare and present program status reports, dashboards, and executive updates; coordinate with vendors, partners, and offshore/onshore teams. Required Skills: - Strong background in mobile/web application development (iOS, Android, cross‑platform). - Hands‑on experience managing Azure-to-GCP cloud migration programs. - Proficiency with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM, Kubernetes, etc.). - Knowledge of mobile app architectures, backend integrations, and cloud‑native patterns. - Proven program management experience leading large, complex technical initiatives. - Strong risk management, dependency tracking, and planning capabilities. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to bridge technical teams and business leadership. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management credential.
