**Job Title:** Director of Engineering Operations
**Role Summary**
Lead strategic evolution of cloud, DevOps, and AI-driven operations, ensuring scalability, resilience, and innovation in a cloud-native SaaS platform. Oversee technical leadership, automation, and intelligent systems integration.
**Expectations**
- Define and execute CloudOps + DevOps strategy aligned with business goals.
- Modernize infrastructure with focus on availability, cost efficiency, and intelligent automation.
- Build and scale a high-performing engineering operations team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and optimize AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS), ensuring security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Lead CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and DevOps tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Implement AI/ML-driven operations (AIOps) for predictive scaling, anomaly detection, and log analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer experience and operational reliability.
- Oversee security postures, compliance, and incident management processes.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years in cloud-native software development or infrastructure leadership roles.
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, EKS, CloudFront) and cloud security practices.
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, observability, and DevSecOps.
- Experience operationalizing ML/AI systems and AIOps frameworks.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
- Leadership in building/mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Professional, or equivalent in cloud/AI operations.
