**Job Title**
ServiceNow Architect
**Role Summary**
Design, govern, and optimize the ServiceNow ecosystem focusing on CMDB, CSDM, and ITOM Discovery. Lead architectural decisions, develop scalable solutions, and ensure platform reliability and compliance.
**Expectations**
- Own CMDB data architecture, CSDM alignment, and ITOM Discovery.
- Drive platform strategy, architecture standards, and governance.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Architect and continuously improve the CMDB: data accuracy, normalization, reconciliation, lifecycle management.
- Lead CSDM adoption: map services, applications, and infrastructure to correct domains and stages.
- Design ITOM Discovery: patterns, probes, credentials, schedules, and MID Server strategy.
- Establish CMDB governance, KPIs, dashboards, and operational processes.
- Lead design and implementation of core ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Asset Management, Discovery & CMDB, Self‑Service Portal).
- Architect integrations with SCCM, other IT tools using APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, web services.
- Implement core platform components: LDAP, SSO, Discovery, orchestration workflows, automation.
- Oversee platform health, performance, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Manage configuration, knowledge base, reporting, interfaces, licensing.
- Conduct system and integration testing, data migration, portal and catalog item design.
- Provide technical guidance to developers and analysts; communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM Discovery, ITSM, ITAM.
- Strong scripting: Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Pages, UI Macros.
- Experience deploying new ServiceNow instances and major module implementations.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design and portal development.
- Deep understanding of IT operations, enterprise infrastructure, and security operations.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years hands‑on ServiceNow experience (5,000+ users).
- ServiceNow Architect or Developer certification mandatory.
