Job Description
Job title: Software Developer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain low‑latency trading applications in C++ and Python, focusing on performance optimization, memory efficiency, and system coherence. Expactations: Deliver high‑throughput, reliable code; self‑directed learning; teamwork; rapid response to production issues; continuous performance tuning. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and code low‑latency modules in C++/Python, optimizing CPU affinity, memory usage, and hardware interactions. - Profile and debug legacy and new code to eliminate bottlenecks and sustain or improve performance. - Document architecture decisions, optimization strategies, and code intricacies for cross‑team knowledge sharing. - Evaluate system performance, propose refinements, and implement operational improvements. - Maintain clean, scalable codebases and support continuous integration/deployment pipelines. Required Skills: - 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in performance‑critical or low‑latency domains. - Advanced proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17+) and Python (3+). - Deep understanding of system internals, memory management, concurrency, and network protocols (TCP/UDP, packet analysis). - Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills using tools such as Valgrind, Perf, gdb, or equivalent. - Effective written and verbal communication; collaboration in a fast‑paced environment. - Ability to solve complex mathematical and coding challenges independently. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). - No mandatory certifications; industry‑relevant training in high‑performance computing or low‑latency systems is a plus.
