Job Description
**Job Title:** Human Resources Process Documentation Intern **Role Summary:** Support HPSM’s Human Resources department by interviewing subject‑matter experts, documenting HR processes and system workflows, and developing user guides, reference materials, and visual aids for the organization’s Human Resource Management (HRM) system. **Expectations:** - Deliver an HRM system user guide - Produce comprehensive documentation of HR processes and workflows - Record configuration change logs for the HRM system - Create annotated screenshots and visual aids - Develop a glossary of HRM and HPSM terminology - Validate steps and test documentation accuracy **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct interviews with HR subject matter experts to capture current processes and system usage. - Document step‑by‑step procedures, integrating screenshots and visual aids. - Assist the HRIS Analyst in system configuration activities and capture configuration changes. - Compile configuration change documentation into a clear, structured format. - Create and maintain an HRM terminology glossary for internal use. - Perform validation testing to ensure documentation aligns with live system functions. - Collaborate with HR and IT teams to refine documentation and user guide content. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Ability to interview stakeholders and translate technical information into user‑friendly documentation. - Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting processes. - Basic understanding of HRM systems and HR processes. - Ability to create annotated screenshots and visual aids. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an undergraduate or graduate program in Public Health, Business Administration, Social Work, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field. - Minimum 3.0 GPA. - (Optional for MPH programs) Completion of at least one year of MPH coursework to qualify for practicum or capstone alignment.
