**Job Title**
Software Engineering Intern – Full Stack
**Role Summary**
Summer internship focused on developing end‑to‑end software solutions for a student loan application platform. Interns will work on backend services with Apex, C#, and Java; design relational databases; build user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; create Salesforce Experience Cloud components; integrate REST APIs; and participate in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Exposure to AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, AppFlow) and automation testing is also included.
**Expectations**
* Deliver functional code increments within sprint cycles.
* Actively participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and design sessions.
* Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies, ask questions, and seek feedback.
* Maintain clear, concise documentation and status updates for the team and leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Develop and maintain backend modules in Apex, C#, and Java following SOLID principles.
2. Design and manage relational database schemas in SQL Server and Salesforce Objects.
3. Implement front‑end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring responsive UI/UX.
4. Build and deploy Salesforce Experience Cloud components – separate customer‑ and agent‑facing screens/flows.
5. Integrate RESTful services for client‑server communication and expose APIs for external integration.
6. Configure and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment.
7. Create and execute automation test scripts, report defects, and verify fixes.
8. Deploy and manage AWS Lambda functions, API Gateway endpoints, and AppFlow integrations.
9. Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture reviews, code quality, and project estimation.
**Required Skills**
* Object‑Oriented Programming with Apex, C#, or Java.
* Relational database design and experience with SQL Server or Salesforce Objects.
* Front‑end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
* Familiarity with SOLID and Least Knowledge principles.
* Experience or exposure to Salesforce Experience Cloud development.
* REST API design and integration.
* Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline configuration.
* Basic knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, AppFlow.
* Automation testing—test case design, execution, and reporting.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Current enrollment or recent graduation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related degree program.
* Knowledge of database and cloud fundamentals.
* Certification in AWS or Azure is a plus but not mandatory.
