**Job Title** Principal II, Software Engineer, DevEx **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of developer experience (DevEx) platforms to improve productivity, reliability, and consistency across global engineering teams. **Expectations** - Drive strategy and vision for DevEx initiatives. - Influence technical and business stakeholders autonomously. - Deliver measurable improvements to release cadence and developer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect and evolve centralized CI/CD systems and self‑service tooling. - Define and integrate build, deployment, and testing workflows to reduce friction. - Establish and document code quality standards, procedures, and guidelines. - Prototype and rollout new systems organization‑wide. - Build reusable frameworks and libraries for cross‑team use. - Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security to ensure compliance and resilience. **Required Skills** - 7+ years of software engineering with modern languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.). - Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and developer tooling. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). - Proven ability to design, evolve, and communicate best‑practice workflows. - Strong mentorship, influence, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications in cloud, DevOps, or security are advantageous.
