**Job Title:** Senior Vice President, Global Data Operations
**Role Summary:**
Lead enterprise‑wide data operations strategy, execution, and transformation for the full data lifecycle—including acquisition, ingestion, curation, governance, quality, deployment, and customer delivery. Ensure data reliability, trust, scalability, cost efficiency, and compliance across global regions, while driving continuous improvement through automation, modernization, and well‑defined SLAs.

- Champion modernization, automation, and simplification initiatives to scale data operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategy & Operating Model (20%)** – Define and execute a global data operations strategy and scalable operating model, establishing standards that drive operational excellence.
- **Transformation Leadership (15%)** – Lead transformation of the data supply chain, driving automation, simplification, and modernization.
- **Service Management & SLAs (10%)** – Set, publish, and enforce SLAs for data capture, curation, quality monitoring, and customer delivery; monitor performance and ensure SLAs meet or exceed expectations.
- **Data Quality Operations (10%)** – Embed quality metrics, automation, and continuous improvement into core processes; oversee global/regional programs improving product performance and customer satisfaction.
- **Platform, Pipeline & Production Operations (10%)** – Manage production operations for ingestion, matching/entity resolution, enrichment, survivorship, and publication pipelines on cloud platforms, ensuring resilience, observability, and cost efficiency.
- **Vendor & Partner Operations (10%)** – Source, evaluate, onboard, and manage performance of data suppliers and platform partners; negotiate operating SLAs and secure, compliant, scalable partner relationships.
- **Governance, Compliance & Risk (10%)** – Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks, privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), security standards, and regulatory requirements; collaborate with governance teams to mitigate operational risk.
- **Policy Development** – Create and enforce data management policies that support effective governance and operational control.
**Required Skills:**
- 15+ years progressive experience in data operations, engineering, or related production functions; 10+ years leading large global teams and complex programs.
- Proven ability to operate high‑volume mission‑critical data pipelines with strong SLAs, incident response, and cost governance.
- Expertise in data quality operations: metrics, automation, tooling, and partnership with Product/Tech.
- Deep knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure), orchestration, observability, MDM/entity resolution, metadata/lineage, and data catalog.
- Executive communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence and translate strategy to operational execution.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and audit controls in regulated environments.
- Transformation mindset with experience leading modernization initiatives.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications in data management, cloud technologies, or program management are advantageous.
