**Job Title**
Salesforce Manager (AVP Application Development)
**Role Summary**
Lead the Salesforce development organization, guiding a cross‑functional team of developers, analysts, and QA to architect, build, and deploy scalable solutions. Drive the technical roadmap, ensure high‑quality deliverables, and integrate Salesforce with external services—particularly AWS—while mentoring staff and overseeing project execution.
**Expectations**
- Direct end‑to‑end delivery of multiple Salesforce projects, maintaining schedule, budget, and quality.
- Serve as the senior technical authority on Salesforce architecture, best practices, and integration patterns.
- Build and nurture strong internal and partner relationships to secure resources and align technical direction with business goals.
- Foster continuous improvement in development processes, code standards, and deployment practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of Leads, Systems Analysts, Application Developers, and QA resources.
- Design and implement integration solutions between Salesforce and external systems, including AWS services (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EC2).
- Oversee hands‑on coding/supervision, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to clean code standards.
- Develop and support deployment plans, release schedules, and automation pipelines.
- Lead the technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Mentor junior developers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and evaluate performance.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Maintain enterprise‑level documentation for architecture, integration designs, and operational procedures.
**Required Skills**
- 6+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components).
- 3+ years of technical leadership in a development environment.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture, and design patterns.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with AWS services and other external systems.
- Strong grasp of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, batch, streaming) and middleware tools.
- Expertise in CI/CD, source control, and deployment automation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and inspire a diverse development team.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification highly desirable.
