**Job Title:** Senior Supply Chain Manager (Procurement & Inventory)
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations in a low‑volume, high‑mix manufacturing environment, managing demand planning, supply planning, procurement, and inventory control across 20,000+ SKUs. Work closely with sourcing, engineering, quality, and finance to achieve inventory targets, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
**Expectations:**
- Drive a high‑performance supply chain team and mentor staff.
- Deliver measurable improvements in inventory turns, cycle count accuracy, and cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with min/max inventory policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership through dashboards and presentations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise procurement and demand analysis staff.
- Develop and enforce inventory control procedures for all manufacturing operations (MTS, MTO, PPTO, resale).
- Establish and monitor min/max inventory levels for all parts and components.
- Source new suppliers, negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and NDAs.
- Present materials‑management updates and improvement plans to senior leadership.
- Identify and execute continuous‑improvement projects to enhance inventory turns, cycle‑count accuracy, and quality.
- Design and maintain dashboards reporting daily, weekly, and monthly inventory metrics.
- Coordinate cycle‑count programs, end‑of‑month and year‑end inventories, and audit activities with finance and QA.
- Communicate inventory status to Customer Care and Production teams to mitigate shortages.
- Apply Lean tools to drive process efficiency and error reduction.
- Foster a safe, efficient, and responsive working culture within the inventory and stock‑handling teams.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience in supply‑chain management, procurement, and inventory control.
- Strong knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Leadership and team‑development capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Superior negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data‑analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Ability to manage complex projects and handle cross‑functional collaboration.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred Master’s degree or MBA.
- Professional certifications: APICS CSCP, APICS CPIM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma (White/Black Belt).
