Job Description

Job title: Application Developer Intern Role Summary: Collaborate within an Agile team to design, develop, test, and support custom Java and Angular applications that meet business needs. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality code within agreed timeframes; participate in sprint ceremonies and code reviews; maintain clear documentation; proactively monitor system performance and suggest improvements; provide production support and root‑cause analysis; communicate status updates to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze, develop, unit‑test, implement, document, and maintain applications. • Create automated unit tests and submit code for review, integrating feedback while meeting security standards. • Provide status updates and participate in scrum meetings. • Monitor system availability, performance, and capacity; recommend adjustments. • Maintain design and operational documentation. • Deliver production support, investigate incidents, and collaborate with Ops, Product Owners, and developers. • Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing. Required Skills: • Object‑Oriented Programming concepts. • Software development life cycle and Agile methodologies. • Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, organization, time management, and communication skills. • Proven teamwork and customer‑service orientation. • Java and Angular (2.0+) or equivalent JavaScript framework. • Familiarity with Spring Framework, Microservices, CI/CD, unit‑testing strategies, and responsive design. • Experience with Azure DevOps, Nexus, Maven, and NPM. Required Education & Certifications: • Current or completed Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, with good academic standing. • No certifications required.
