Job Description: Job title: Cloud Network DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of virtual network infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments using a Hub & Spoke architecture. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud networks while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to capture requirements, develop migration plans, and support capacity and resilience initiatives. Expactations: - Minimum 7–10 years of experience in large, matrixed organizations. - Proven track record managing end‑to‑end cloud architectural projects and standardization efforts. - Strong communication skills in English; bilingual French acceptable. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and maintain Azure vWAN, ExpressRoute, NVAs, VNET; AWS Transit Gateway, VPC, Direct Connect. - Configure and troubleshoot IP routing protocols (BGP, others) and ensure optimal performance. - Create and update technical documentation (design docs, configuration guides, migration plans, SOPs). - Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and resilience strategy development. - Oversee patching, upgrade road‑maps, and Disaster Recovery plans. - Provide incident diagnosis, root‑cause analysis, and network support. - Mentor and upskill engineering teams; share best practices. - Engage with clients to tailor network solutions to business needs. Required Skills: - Advanced knowledge of cloud networking patterns and best practices. - Expertise with Azure network services (vWAN, ExpressRoute, NVAs, VNET). - Expertise with AWS networking (Transit Gateway, VPC, Direct Connect). - Proficient in Terraform Enterprise, GitHub, and Terraform module creation. - Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with REST APIs. - Ability to author clear, maintainable documentation. - Professional fluency in English. Required Education & Certifications: - Microsoft Azure Networking certifications (e.g., AZ-700) or equivalent. - AWS Advanced Networking certification. - Traditional networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE) highly desirable. - Security certifications (CISSP, Palo Alto Networks) valued.
