Job Description

**Job Title:** Business Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Analyze, transform, and visualize client data to support business strategy. Build and maintain reports and dashboards, migrate legacy data, and develop custom APIs for integration with Kaseware systems. Collaborate with end users to define data needs and ensure data quality and integrity. **Expactations:** - Deliver high‑quality analytical outputs that influence client strategy. - Maintain data integrity and adhere to best‑practice data governance. - Secure and maintain a Secret security clearance. - Communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement data models for complex datasets. - Extract, transform, and load data from disparate legacy systems into Kaseware using APIs or import tools. - Write and optimize SQL scripts and Python code for data extraction, migration, and reporting. - Develop advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI, Metabase, and Microsoft Office. - Conduct ad‑hoc and structured data analysis to support client decisions. - Identify and flag data quality issues to stakeholders. - Document data processes, transformations, and reporting logic. - Work directly with clients to understand visualization and reporting requirements. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst. - Proficient SQL and scripting in Python or similar languages. - Experience creating and consuming custom APIs. - Advanced data modeling, warehousing, and reporting expertise. - Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical problem‑solving skills. - Excellent documentation and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field. - Current or obtainable Secret security clearance. ---
