Job Description
Job Title: Financial Analyst – Operations Support (6‑month contract, starting July 2026) Role Summary: Provide analytical and operational support to finance, ESG, investment, and fundraising functions within a venture‑private‑equity hybrid fund, ensuring accurate reporting and process optimization. Expectations: Deliver accurate quarterly reports, automate internal processes, supply ESG operational support for portfolio companies, maintain KPI dashboards, and coordinate with external service providers. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and consolidate quarterly financial statements and management reports. • Manage accounting, controlling, and cash‑flow planning tasks. • Automate routine finance workflows (budgeting, reconciliation, data entry). • Collaborate with ESG team to provide operational support and ESG‑benchmark content for portfolio companies. • Update and distribute KPI portfolio dashboards for the investment team. • Create investor‑facing presentations and reporting for the fundraising team. • Liaise with banks, auditors, lawyers, and other service providers. Required Skills: • 2+ years experience in audit, consulting, corporate finance, or a startup finance function. • Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VBA optional). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑visualisation skills. • Proficiency in English and French (written & spoken). • Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative mindset. • Familiarity with finance software (e.g., ERP, BI tools) and willingness to learn coding or productivity apps. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. • CFA, CPA, or equivalent certification is an asset.
