Job Description

Job title: Contracts & Compliance Manager Role Summary: Senior professional responsible for end‑to‑end contracts and compliance function in a high‑growth SaaS company, ensuring governance, commercial discipline, and regulatory adherence while supporting scaling operations. Expactations: Own and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, GDPR, UK GDPR); oversee audit readiness and remediation; lead information security governance; manage full commercial contract lifecycle; liaise with auditors, legal counsel, customers, and internal stakeholders; support M&A compliance and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and monitor compliance controls and risk registers. - Plan and execute business continuity and remediation projects. - Lead ISO and ISAE audit processes and reporting. - Own GDPR and UK GDPR compliance, including data protection impact assessments. - Negotiate and manage enterprise commercial contracts from inception to renewal. - Act as primary contact for customers, auditors, and legal counsel. - Collaborate with operations and finance to align contract terms with business strategy. - Provide guidance on information security policies and procedures. Required Skills: - Proven experience in contracts, compliance, governance, or legal operations. - Expertise in ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 ownership. - Strong background in commercial contract negotiation and lifecycle management. - Practical knowledge of GDPR/UK GDPR data protection and information security governance. - Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, regulated B2B environment. - Experience with M&A compliance and audit engagements. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, risk management, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, CISM, CISSP, GDPR Professional, or contract management credentials) preferred.
