Job Description: Job title: Stainless Steel Thin-Wall Boiler Metalworker / TIG Welder Role Summary: Skilled metalworker with 5 + years of experience in thin‑wall stainless steel fabrication and TIG welding. Responsible for planning, cutting, forming, assembling, and quality checking boiler and piping components within a production team. Expectations: - Minimum 5 years of proven experience in stainless steel boiler metalworking; qualification in the field required. - Strong teamwork, professional communication, adaptability, and a results‑oriented mindset. - Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications. - Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Verify prior operations, identify required actions from drawings, adjust machine settings. - Trace, mark, cut, roll, bend, grind, and shape thin‑wall stainless steel plates, tubes, and profiles. - Assemble sub‑assemblies through TIG welding, perform redressing and deformation correction. - Conduct first‑level equipment maintenance and inspect weld integrity and dimensional accuracy. - Report quality deviations and collaborate with quality and production teams. - Handle heavy loads as required by the job. Required Skills: - Proficient TIG welding of stainless steel. - Reading and interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing plans. - Cutting, rolling, bending, grinding, and forming thin‑wall stainless steel. - Redressing, deformation control, and deformation prediction. - Setting machine parameters and basic maintenance of metalworking equipment. - Strong safety awareness and quality focus. Required Education & Certifications: - Trade certificate or technical diploma in metalworking, welding, or related field. - Certified TIG welder credential (e.g., AWS Welder Certified in TIG) or equivalent professional welding certification. - Valid qualifications for working with stainless steel thin‑wall components.
