**Job Title:** Pharmacy Student **Role Summary** Summer pharmacy student internship in a community pharmacy setting, providing support in prescription processing, patient interaction, inventory management, compounding, compliance packaging, and promotion of pharmacy services. **Expectations** - Enrollment as a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd‑year pharmacy student in an accredited program. - Registered as a student or intern in the relevant province. - Full availability during the summer, including evenings and weekends. - Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet tight deadlines. - Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying “Kindness in Every Community.” **Key Responsibilities** - Process prescription intake and release under supervision. - Assist patients with medication counseling and fill queries. - Perform compounding and compliance packaging tasks. - Promote pharmacy programs and professional services. - Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. - Support overall pharmacy operations and team workflow. **Required Skills** - Exceptional verbal and written communication. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. - Proficiency in pharmacy software and basic computer literacy. - Positive customer‑service orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program (1st–3rd year). - Active student or intern registration in the operating province. - Injection‑certification required for 3rd‑year students (obtained by interview/hire).
