Job Description
**Job Title:** Intern, Comedy **Role Summary:** Support the Comedy Touring department of a global talent agency in London by handling ticket data, contracts, tour routing, immigration documents, and general administrative tasks. Provide desk coverage and assist the team in day‑to‑day operations. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate strong interest in entertainment, comedy, and talent agency operations. - Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive client information. - Prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. - Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Enter, verify, and distribute ticket figures for UK and EU shows. - Prepare and process show contracts promptly upon request. - Gather venue availability data and assist in creating tour routing grids. - Compile and issue Certificates of Sponsorship for talent entering the UK. - Provide desk cover for assistants/co‑ordinators during absences. - Support assistants with additional tasks as approved by Operations Manager. - Update and maintain monthly London comedy show lists. - Attend client shows/gigs when required. - Perform ad‑hoc duties as needed. **Required Skills:** - Strong verbal and written communication. - Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Proactive problem‑solving and ability to prioritize a busy workload. - Basic understanding of booking, marketing, and deal negotiation. - Capacity to build and maintain professional relationships. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Entertainment Management, Communications, or a related field. - No specific certifications required; relevant internship or work experience is a plus.
