Job Description
Job title: New Product Introduction Program Manager Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end new product introduction (NPI) cycle for Pegasus Solar hardware, translating customer insight and engineering feasibility into manufacturable, cost‑effective products. Coordinate cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and field to deliver launches on time and at scale. Expactations: Deliver product launches on schedule, within scope, and aligned with market and customer needs. Maintain rigorous stage‑gate process; provide clear documentation of product and market requirements. Communicate status and risks to senior leadership. Drive continuous improvement of NPI processes to increase efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Own and streamline the full stage‑gate process from ideation to mass‑production. - Develop and manage product launch schedules and deliverables using project tools (e.g., Asana). - Draft and maintain Product Requirement and Market Requirement documents, integrating feedback from sales, field, manufacturing, and engineering. - Coordinate product trials and customer reviews, translating findings into actionable design modifications. - Partner with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless product launches and lifecycle management. Required Skills: - 5+ years managing mechanical or hardware products through the NPI process. - Proven track record of launching multiple products on time with cross‑functional teams. - Experience with high‑volume manufacturing processes (stamping, roll‑forming, die casting, extrusion, etc.). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and written & oral communication skills. - Proficiency with Asana, Slack, and MS Office or equivalent productivity tools. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
