Job Description

**Job Title:** Machine Learning Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and maintain machine‑learning pipelines and production deployments to support marketing, customer insight, and safer gambling initiatives. Work closely with data scientists, data & operations teams, and platform engineers to ensure scalable, high‑quality ML solutions on Azure Databricks. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end ML solutions that meet business objectives and quality standards. - Act as the key interface between data scientists and data/operations teams. - Proactively manage pipeline quality, cost efficiency, and scalability. - Continuously improve tooling, automation, and best‑practice adoption. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and evolve robust ML data pipelines with rigorous quality controls and contingency planning. - Deploy, serve, and monitor models, ensuring alignment with internal standards and maximizing automation. - Optimize cost and performance of data production and model deployment processes. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to communicate requirements, data issues, and solution status. - Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents related to ML workflows. - Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate improvements into the platform. **Required Skills:** - Strong software engineering background (Spark, advanced SQL, Python). - Deep knowledge of machine‑learning frameworks and packages. - Experience with Azure Databricks and related cloud data services. - Proven model deployment and monitoring collaboration with data scientists. - Excellent technical writing and communication abilities. - Proactive problem‑solving orientation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Postgraduate degree (or equivalent) in IT, STEM, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline. ---
