Job title: Solutions Engineer Role Summary: A technical enabler who bridges product, engineering, sales, onboarding, and customer success to solve complex e‑commerce integration and feasibility challenges. Acts as the internal product knowledge hub, accelerating customer outcomes, reducing engineering load, and turning insights into scalable improvements. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality, rapid solutions for technically challenging customer scenarios. - Maintain ownership of tickets from discovery through resolution. - Capture customer pain points and recommend product and process enhancements. - Actively coach and support internal teams through workshops and resources. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct technical discovery and design solutions for complex customer requests. 2. Advise on integration approaches, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and accelerate onboarding time‑to‑value. 3. Serve as escalation point for high‑complexity feasibility tickets; root‑cause analysis and clear communication with customers. 4. Build and maintain internal enablement assets (technical playbooks, FAQs, troubleshooting guides). 5. Translate recurring customer friction into product change proposals, lightweight tooling, or workflow improvements. 6. Deliver workshops, office hours, and technical training to elevate team capabilities. Required Skills: - 3+ years in Solutions Engineering or a comparable customer‑facing technical role. - Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain complex technical concepts to engineers and non‑technical stakeholders. - High ownership, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to ship solutions from ambiguous problems. - Experience in fast‑moving startup environments, building processes while executing. - Customer‑first, empathetic approach. - Preferred: e‑commerce domain knowledge (e.g., Shopify), SaaS platform implementation, and integration support experience. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
