Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Junior‑to‑mid level developer tasked with designing, building, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and SecOps modules. Works closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and system architects to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that align with enterprise service management goals.
Expectations: 3–5+ years proven hands‑on ServiceNow development experience. Must hold a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) license; additional advanced certifications (e.g., CIS‑ITSM, CAD, Application Developer) strongly preferred. Self‑directed, collaborative, and able to translate business requirements into functional, maintainable code. Remote‑capable, reliable communication in written and verbal English.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect, develop, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, and other native tools.
• Lead module‑specific development projects within ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and SecOps based on priority schedules.
• Gather and refine requirements with stakeholders, BAs, and process owners; ensure solutions meet functional and performance criteria.
• Design, implement, and maintain REST and SOAP integrations, including MID Server configurations, to connect ServiceNow with external systems.
• Support CMDB management, Data Modeling, and Performance Analytics where applicable.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
Required Skills:
• Strong JavaScript and Glide API expertise.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development environment: Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and scoped application development.
• Experience with one or more core modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
• Integration knowledge: REST, SOAP, MID Server, and web service configuration.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts, data modeling, and performance analytics.
• Version control (Git) and Agile development practices.
Required Education & Certifications:
