Job title: Infrastructure DevOps Engineer
Role Summary:
Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer with 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure. Expert in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, container orchestration, and production support. Works independently on long‑term contract engagements, collaborating with platform, application, and security teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable solutions.
Expactations:
* 15+ years in Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
* Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
* Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and operational shift‑work
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid environments
* Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
* Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
* Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes via scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and configuration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
* Manage containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes – EKS, AKS, GKE) and support Kubernetes at scale
* Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions
* Provide production support, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and on‑call support
* Ensure security, compliance, and governance best practices are followed
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions and provide technical guidance to development teams
Required Skills:
* Expert-level proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Deep knowledge of networking, IAM, load balancing, DNS, and VPC/VNET design
* Strong experience with CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code platforms
* Proficiency with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
* Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
* Experience supporting enterprise production environments and troubleshooting complex incidents
Required Education & Certifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
* Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
