Job Description
**Job Title:** Research Intern **Role Summary:** Provide research, administrative, and communicative support to an investment research team covering traditional asset classes, hedge funds, and private markets. Work in a hybrid environment requiring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. **Expectations:** - Support research and reporting for institutional and retail investment products. - Maintain accurate records and manage data across multiple databases. - Facilitate communication between the team, external managers, and clients. - Contribute to special projects and documentation as assigned. **Key Responsibilities:** - Schedule meetings, conference calls, and coordinate with asset‑management contacts. - Communicate with mutual fund, hedge fund, and corporate representatives. - Present information and respond to inquiries from managers, advisors, and clients. - Maintain and update contact lists in Outlook and internal CRM systems. - Perform data entry, scanning, and organization of electronic files. - Produce research reports, presentations, and other related materials. - Support ad‑hoc research projects and tasks. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). - Strong organizational and detail‑oriented approach. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Basic analytical thinking – qualitative and quantitative. - Understanding of research methods and ability to interpret financial reports, journals, and regulatory documents. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a four‑year college or university, on track to graduate with a BA/BS within the next 12 months. - No specific certifications required; basic office experience a plus.
