**Job Title**
ServiceNow Architect
**Role Summary**
Design, architect, and lead large‑scale ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications. Provide end‑to‑end governance of the platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and well‑documented solutions that meet organizational objectives.
**Expectations**
- 12+ years in ServiceNow development, architecture, or closely related technical roles.
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑module implementations at enterprise scale.
- Leadership experience in design workshops, requirement elicitation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions.
- Demonstrated handling of mergers, acquisitions, or separation scenarios (plus).
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions, covering requirements, functional/specification, and technical design.
2. Develop and extend ServiceNow applications, custom modules, and integrations using JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
3. Build and consume REST/SOAP services, ensuring high‑quality, secure integrations.
4. Conduct system, design, and performance reviews; enforce best practices for scalability, security, and maintainability.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation (configuration, customizations, integration points).
6. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues for ServiceNow environments.
7. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align solution design with business goals.
8. Promote Agile and DevOps practices across the ServiceNow team.
9. Provide technical mentorship and leadership to development teams.
**Required Skills**
- ServiceNow platform architecture, data modeling, and security fundamentals.
- Advanced scripting with JavaScript and Glide API.
- Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integration design.
- Agile development, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Leadership and workshop facilitation experience.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent senior platform certification preferred.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist, Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
