Job Description
Job Title Sr. Salesforce Developer (Software Development Specialist 4) Role Summary Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑scale Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with IT architecture, CIO, and managers to define business requirements, create project plans, and deliver high‑quality code while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Expectations - Deliver robust Salesforce applications within defined scope and schedule. - Act as technical lead on medium to large projects, mentoring junior developers. - Maintain coding standards, secure coding practices, and documentation. - Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. Key Responsibilities 1. Design and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Apex Triggers, Flows, Aura Components, Visualforce, Batch Apex, and Lightning Web Components. 2. Create and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD of Salesforce applications. 3. Develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce Data Loader, Data API integrations, and ETL processes. 4. Draft and update enterprise artifacts: policies, procedures, standards, best‑practice guides, and position papers related to Salesforce. 5. Lead solution workshops, define tasks, and drive project meetings. 6. Analyze business processes, document flows, and recommend optimizations. 7. Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and resolve software/hardware conflicts. 8. Recommend and enforce software reusability guidelines and modular design. Required Skills - Advanced proficiency in Apex, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, Aura, Lightning Web Components. - Hands‑on experience with Visualforce, Batch Apex, and Salesforce data management tools. - Expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines, source control, and release automation. - Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, data sharing, and integration patterns. - Secure coding practices and code review experience. - Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical designs. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Minimum 36 months of combined experience in software development and design, with at least 12 months in Salesforce development. - Certifications preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Administrator, and related Salesforce architecture credentials.
