Job Description
Job title: IT Salesforce Administrator Role Summary: Active Salesforce administrator responsible for end‑to‑end implementation, configuration, upgrade, integration, and production support within a financial services environment. Ensures high availability, system security, and compliance while advising on best practices and driving process improvements. Expectations: - Deliver reliable, scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives. - Resolve technical issues swiftly, ensuring minimal downtime. - Maintain vendor relationships and manage system upgrades, patches, and contingency plans. - Communicate clearly with business units, developers, and support teams. Key Responsibilities - Configure, patch, upgrade, and perform release management for Salesforce. - Manage integrations, data loads, and performance tuning. - Provide production support: incident resolution, testing, DR support, and contingency planning. - Coordinate with vendors on releases, fixes, and issue escalation. - Gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee project delivery from concept to implementation. - Document procedures, release notes, and knowledge base content. - Execute change management activities and necessary approvals. - Contribute to training materials and administrative tasks as required. Required Skills - Deep understanding of Salesforce platform, automation, security, and integration patterns. - Strong problem‑solving and technical troubleshooting abilities. - Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills. - Self‑directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment. - Familiarity with banking data processing, imaging, or loan origination systems is an advantage. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. - Five years of relevant experience in business applications within a financial institution. - Salesforce certifications preferred: Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, System Architect, or Application Architect.
