Job Description
Job Title: IT Analyst Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end technical support for hardware, software, network, and endpoint environments, manage user accounts, system updates, and security compliance, and coordinate vendor and inventory activities to maintain stable, secure, and efficient IT operations. Expectations: 6‑month contract with a hybrid schedule; deliver high‑quality, professional support; handle multiple priorities with calm composure; communicate technical information to non‑technical staff; demonstrate a “no big deal” attitude; grow into expanded responsibilities; step in to support the team as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Resolve hardware, software, and network issues; troubleshoot, document, and escalated when required. • Manage user accounts, access rights, system updates, patches, backups, and performance monitoring. • Log, prioritize, resolve, and document help‑desk tickets; identify and close recurring issues. • Train users on IT policies, tools, and systems; create and maintain simple documentation. • Support security and compliance – anti‑virus, monitoring, backups, recovery processes. • Coordinate with vendors for repairs, equipment procurement, and on/off‑boarding support. • Maintain IT inventory, service requests, and associated reporting. Required Skills: • Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks. • Experience handling help‑desk tickets and delivering customer service. • Proficiency with Microsoft Entra, Intune, Autopilot; plus SharePoint, NetSuite, Salesforce, Power Automate, Power BI or ManageEngine. • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities. • Ability to multi‑task, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude. • Senior‑level technical support experience is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: • BS/BA in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Azure Fundamentals are advantageous.
