Job Title: 2026 IT Web Developer Intern
Role Summary:
An entry‑level internship focused on front‑end Web Development and Digital Commerce, supporting Salesforce Commerce Cloud systems, AI‑driven development workflows, and content management. The intern will collaborate with senior developers and cross‑functional stakeholders on coding, testing, documentation, and system maintenance projects.
Expectations:
- Current junior or senior college student with excellent academic standing (GPA ≥ 3.0).
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Thursday in an office setting, with Friday remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and debug entry‑level code for web and e‑commerce applications within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Assist with routine system maintenance: troubleshooting, bug fixes, updates, and managing order flows between Commerce Cloud and third‑party integrations.
- Develop foundational knowledge and contribute to generative and agentic AI‑enhanced workflows, including automated scripts and AI‑assisted coding tools.
- Perform front‑end tasks: UI design, responsive web development, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML styling.
- Create landing pages and manage content using Salesforce Page Designer and Page Designer.
- Contribute to documentation, code comments, and reports, leveraging AI‑driven documentation tools.
- Participate in quality assurance: testing new features, reviewing logs, using web consoles, and applying AI‑based test automation for anomaly detection.
- Engage in cross‑functional projects, collaborating with agency partners, business stakeholders, and the DTC team.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate level).
- Basic understanding of web development frameworks and responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, salesforce platform, or similar e‑commerce platforms.
- Ability to learn and apply AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., coding assistants, automation scripts).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective teamwork and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program (Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field).
- No specific certifications required; familiarity with Salesforce or e‑commerce certifications is an advantage.
