**Job Title** Consulting Intern – Just Transition **Role Summary** Five‑month internship supporting a boutique consulting team that advises energy and utilities clients on just transition strategies. Interns conduct research, data analysis, and deliver client‑facing materials, while contributing to commercial activities and proposal development. Work is largely remote with occasional on‑site collaboration. **Expectations** - Deliver independent work under guidance, showing initiative and solution‑oriented thinking. - Communicate findings clearly to colleagues and clients. - Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. - Embrace continuous learning through formal training and self‑study. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform online and qualitative/quantitative research for client projects. - Develop and format client deliverables (Word reports, PowerPoint decks, Excel dashboards). - Collaborate with client teams from project initiation to completion. - Support proposal development, including market research and innovative deliverable design. - Engage in training sessions and leverage available self‑study resources. **Required Skills** - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication. - Strong analytical mindset, able to synthesize data and insights. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). - Programming knowledge (R, Python, VBA, Power Platform) desirable. - Entrepreneurial, self‑motivated, proactive approach to work. - Genuine interest in energy sector transition and stakeholder engagement. - Fluent in English; eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship). **Required Education & Certifications** - Recent graduate or final‑year student with less than one year of professional experience. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (M‑level preferred) in Public Policy, Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, Sustainability, ESG, Energy Systems, or related field. - No specific certifications required.
