Job Description

**Job Title:** WordPress Developer (Part‑Time) **Role Summary:** A skilled WordPress specialist to design, build, and maintain responsive websites using Elementor. The role involves direct client interaction, technical site management, performance optimization, and collaboration with designers to ensure brand‑consistent, high‑performing web solutions. **Expectations:** - Deliver functional, visually appealing WordPress sites on schedule. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal teams. - Maintain site performance, security, and SEO best practices. - Manage multiple projects while meeting quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and launch responsive WordPress sites with Elementor. - Configure hosting, DNS, SMTP, SSL, and other backend settings. - Troubleshoot and optimize site speed, accessibility, and cross‑browser/device compatibility. - Implement on‑page SEO, set up Google Analytics/GA4, UTM tracking, and other measurement tools. - Maintain and update existing client websites. - Collaborate with designers to ensure brand consistency. - Provide client support, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that meet business goals. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in WordPress core and ecosystem. - Advanced proficiency with Elementor (primary page builder). - Strong understanding of responsive design, image optimization, page speed, and accessibility. - Experience with hosting environments, DNS management, email (SMTP) setup, and SSL certificates. - Familiarity with other builders (WP Bakery, Divi) and popular plugins (Gravity Forms, ACF, Yoast). - SEO implementation knowledge. - Problem‑solving orientation and high attention to detail. - Excellent client‑facing communication skills. - Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. - (Nice‑to‑have) Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for custom tweaks. - (Nice‑to‑have) Experience with WooCommerce and agency workflow. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required; WordPress or SEO certifications are a plus.
