**Job Title:** AI/ML Engineer (GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI – Azure‑first)
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade generative AI solutions on Azure, focusing on Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and multi‑agent workflows. Serve as a client‑facing technical lead, presenting demos, gathering requirements, and ensuring rapid delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end AI systems that are scalable, secure, and production‑ready.
- Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Operate independently, manage multiple client interactions, and respond swiftly to issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build custom RAG pipelines using Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure OpenAI/Cognitive Services.
- Implement chunking, embedding generation, retrieval logic, and agentic workflow orchestration in Python.
- Develop and maintain production APIs (FastAPI preferred; Flask/Django acceptable).
- Design, configure, and manage vector databases and retrieval strategies.
- Create, schedule, and monitor data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Conduct client meetings, deliver solution demos, and translate AI outputs into business value.
- Provide ongoing support, debugging, and performance tuning for deployed AI services.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong Python development experience; production‑level API design (FastAPI preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with GenAI/Agentic AI, RAG architectures, embeddings, and LLM integration.
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and operate scalable AI platforms on Azure.
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Blob Storage, Data Factory, and related Azure services.
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS, Azure Cognitive Search) and retrieval strategies.
- Knowledge of PDF processing and data extraction techniques.
- Excellent verbal and video communication; able to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously in a high‑velocity, client‑focused environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred (candidates without a degree may be considered based on experience).
- Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate) are a plus but not mandatory.
