Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer **Role Summary:** Experienced developer proficient in multiple programming languages, responsible for building, maintaining, and securing CI‑CD pipelines, backend and frontend components of a core business tool, and automating deployment and system administration tasks within an Agile environment. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or software development. - Strong problem‑solving ability and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. - Commitment to maintaining high availability, security, and performance of production systems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Implement and support backend services (.NET Core, Spring Boot, Express.js) and frontend applications (Angular). - Automate deployment processes and routine system‑administration tasks using Docker and Kubernetes. - Monitor, log, and set up alerting for production and pre‑production environments. - Supervise the health and performance of all environments, performing troubleshooting as needed. - Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and delivery processes in collaboration with stakeholders. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with version control (Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Strong coding skills in .NET Core, Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript/Node.js (Express.js), and TypeScript/Angular. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps best practices. - Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS/GCP DevOps).
