Job Description
**Job Title:** Product Specialist (Fixed‑Term Contract – 7 months) **Role Summary:** Hands‑on specialist responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and consistent operation of the Orderly platform in live quick‑service restaurant (QSR) and grocery environments. Acts as the primary liaison between customers, support, and engineering teams to configure the product, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement and sustainability outcomes. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate high ownership and personal accountability in live operational settings. - Make independent, judgment‑based decisions while adhering to security and data‑protection standards. - Communicate clearly and credibly with multinational customers and internal teams. - Maintain disciplined PMO practices, tracking actions, risks, and dependencies. - Support sustainability goals and align with B Corp principles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as the point‑of‑contact for operational and technical queries on the Orderly platform. - Configure and support day‑to‑day platform usage in multi‑site QSR and grocery operations. - Diagnose root causes of issues; collaborate with Support and Engineering to resolve them. - Develop and maintain configuration guides, specifications, documentation, videos, and customer‑facing resources. - Manage product change requests, balancing operational needs with technical constraints. - Apply PMO discipline to monitor workstreams, risks, and outcomes. - Review platform usage and site feedback to enhance performance and consistency. - Promote adoption of new platform features and drive measurable sustainability outcomes. - Uphold security and data‑protection standards in access, configuration, and change management. - Represent Orderly on‑site (≈2 days/week) and travel regularly, including occasional international trips. **Required Skills:** - Experience in QSR or grocery technology/operations, preferably across multiple sites. - Strong understanding of store‑level workflows and operational constraints. - Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, real‑world operational issues. - Effective collaboration with engineering and technical teams. - Robust PMO/project‑management skills; ability to handle multiple parallel workstreams. - Comfortable working across regions, cultures, and time zones. - Clear, direct communication and strong operational credibility. - Interest in sustainability, waste reduction, and alignment with B Corp values. **Required Education & Certifications:** - No specific degree or certification mandated; relevant experience in QSR/grocery tech operations is essential.
