Job Description: Job Title: Research Fellow Role Summary: Conduct independent economic and financial research, develop and validate quantitative models, and publish findings within a cohesive research platform. Collaborate with core team on product strategy and contribute to platform evolution. Expatations: Demonstrate strong analytical skills, self‑direction, and ability to operate in a fast‑changing, startup‑style environment. Produce high‑quality research outputs that inform platform design and business decisions. Maintain a continuous learning cycle and share insights through publications or presentations. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and test macroeconomic and financial models in Python, R, or equivalent tools. • Analyze large datasets and identify patterns relevant to market behavior, economic indicators, or portfolio risk. • Author research papers, technical reports, or platform documentation. • Provide feedback on product features and contribute to ecosystem development. • Engage with the research community to disseminate findings and support platform adoption. Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python or R and experience with data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, tidyverse, etc.). • Strong quantitative and statistical modeling expertise. • Ability to code efficient notebooks or scripts for reproducible research. • Excellent written and verbal communication for publishing and presenting results. • Adaptability to an evolving, early‑stage work environment. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred). • Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or data science certificates) are a plus but not mandatory.
