Job Description
Job title: Commercial Business Development Officer – BtoB (M/F) Role Summary: Drive the commercial growth of a portfolio of 5–6 social enterprise sites within the Ares Group by initiating, nurturing, and closing BtoB deals. Act as a strategic partner to site managers, aligning sales goals with operational capabilities and social impact metrics. Expectations: - Human‑centered sales mindset and strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across functions (operations, finance, marketing). - Proactive, result‑oriented with a passion for social impact. - Comfortable with field work, negotiations, and managing a diverse client mix (start‑ups to CAC 40 firms). Key Responsibilities: - Prospect and qualify commercial opportunities across varied sectors. - Conduct needs analyses in partnership with site teams to align solutions with client objectives. - Draft proposals and respond to RFPs using tailored economic models (service or implementation). - Negotiate first contracts and lead deal closure. - Support sites in defining annual commercial strategies and KPIs. - Track performance, manage key accounts, and drive contract renewals or expansions. - Participate in cross‑functional projects to refine sales processes, develop dashboards, and enhance marketing communications. Required Skills: - Strategic & analytical thinking. - Negotiation and closing expertise. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English. - Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools. - Networking and stakeholder management. - Adaptability to fast‑moving environments, including field and event engagement. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or equivalent. - 3+ years of BtoB commercial experience (preferably in service or industrial sectors). - Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly to client sites.
