Job Description
**Job title** B2B Commercial Development Officer **Role Summary** Lead end‑to‑end B2B sales for a portfolio of 5–6 business sites, driving revenue growth and social impact. Prospect new clients, craft proposals, negotiate contracts, and support account management while collaborating closely with site leaders and cross‑functional teams to refine commercial practices and tools. **Expectations** - Deliver annual sales targets and contribute to revenue growth. - Secure new contracts and renew existing ones, particularly through tender processes. - Achieve measurable social impact metrics (e.g., number of placements in supported social programs). - Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and close opportunities on time. - Provide high‑quality proposals and contract documentation. - Share insights and best practices to improve overall commercial performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect diverse prospects (start‑ups, SMEs, large enterprises) through events, networking, and outbound outreach. - Analyze client needs against product capabilities and coordinate with site teams to develop tailored solutions. - Draft and present commercial proposals, business cases, and tender responses of varying complexity. - Negotiate initial and renewal contracts, ensuring terms align with company strategy and client value. - Support key account management: track performance, foster retention, and grow high‑value relationships. - Contribute to cross‑functional projects such as commercial tool development, KPI dashboards, and communication initiatives. **Required Skills** - Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. - Strong prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Ability to translate complex business needs into clear value propositions. - Collaborative mindset; able to work with multiple internal stakeholders. - Analytical aptitude for assessing client requirements and market opportunities. - Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with proposal‑writing tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field. - At least 3–5 years of relevant sales experience; experience in social or sustainable enterprises is an advantage. - Professional sales certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person, – optional) is a plus.
