Job Title: Junior Java Developer Role Summary: Entry‑level software engineer responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java‑based applications while collaborating with senior developers and cross‑functional teams. Focuses on writing clean code, learning best practices, and contributing to project delivery in a fast‑paced IT environment. Key Responsibilities: - Write, debug, and unit‑test Java code under guidance of senior developers. - Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of application features. - Participate in code reviews and adopt feedback to improve code quality. - Document technical specifications, usage guides, and troubleshooting steps. - Support bug‑fixing activities and perform routine maintenance tasks. - Contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes using version‑control tools. Required Skills: - Fundamental knowledge of Java SE (core language, OOP concepts, collections, exception handling). - Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. - Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Problem‑solving mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Good written and verbal communication skills.
