Job Description: **Job title**: Software Engineer (Remote) **Role Summary**: Develop, extend, and maintain web‑based software for a digital marketing platform serving financial professionals. Work independently on end‑to‑end features, from data modeling to front‑end deployment, following SOLID principles and Agile practices. **Expectations**: - Minimum 5 years of web‑software development experience. - Full ownership of features; take mock‑ups or acceptance criteria through production. - Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; collaborate in distributed teams. - Self‑motivated, quick learner, and capable of working independently in a remote setting with reliable internet. **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, code, test, and deploy web services using C#, ASP.NET and REST APIs. - Model and manage relational data, primarily in SQL Server. - Build responsive front‑end components with JavaScript and a modern framework (React preferred). - Write unit and integration tests, employ Test‑Driven Development where possible. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD). - Use cloud services (AWS) and incorporate AI tooling where relevant. - Maintain and improve code quality, documentation, and adherence to engineering standards. **Required Skills**: - C# / ASP.NET MVC or Web API, RESTful service development. - SQL Server data modeling and query optimization. - JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and React (or equivalent). - SOLID design principles, TDD, unit/integration testing. - Git version control, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines. - Agile development methodology. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Reliable internet (≥5 Mbps down / ≥3 Mbps up). **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
