Job Description
**Job Title**: Interim Finance Manager **Role Summary** A 9‑month fixed‑term contract to lead month‑end, consolidation and group financial reporting under IFRS for a renewable energy and infrastructure portfolio. Responsibilities include tax and regulatory submissions, payroll processing, audit coordination, and internal financial business partnering across UK and European subsidiaries. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and consolidations within set deadlines. - Ensure compliance with UK, EU and group regulatory requirements. - Provide proactive financial insights to business stakeholders. - Execute payroll processes efficiently and in line with statutory obligations. - Manage audit engagements and support internal controls. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Prepare month‑end financial closings and consolidated reports. 2. Produce group IFRS reports for UK and European subsidiaries. 3. File tax returns and other regulatory submissions. 4. Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance. 5. Coordinate external audit activities, including data preparation and queries. 6. Partner with business units to deliver financial dashboards and KPI reporting. 7. Maintain appropriate internal control procedures and finance policies. **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of IFRS financial reporting and consolidation techniques. - Experience with UK and EU tax and regulatory filing requirements. - Proficiency in payroll systems and processes. - Audit coordination and internal control expertise. - Excellent stakeholder communication and business partnering. - Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems (e.g., ERP). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. - Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred. - Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in finance management, ideally within energy, infrastructure or construction sectors. **Work Eligibility** Right to work in the United Kingdom required.
