Job Description: Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Role Summary: Process and reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and corporate credit card transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support monthly close, cash‑flow reporting, and payment cycles. Expectations: - Maintain 100 % accuracy and timeliness in all AP functions. - Uphold stringent data security and confidentiality standards. - Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and ownership of process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Review, match, and process vendor invoices and purchase orders. - Verify expenses for policy compliance and resolve discrepancies. - Reconcile corporate credit card statements and update account records. - Manage the AP inbox, communicate with vendors, and resolve inquiries. - Assist in weekly payment runs and generate cash‑flow reports. - Support month‑end close activities and prepare financial reports for stakeholders. - Collaborate with internal departments to validate data and secure approvals. Required Skills: - 3+ years of accounts payable experience. - Proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, and Smartsheet. - Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently with sensitivity to confidential information. Required Education & Certifications: - Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
