Job title: Business Development Representative Role Summary: Front‑line driver of Deck’s go‑to‑market strategy, tasked with prospecting, qualifying, and generating high‑value pipeline in targeted accounts, with a clear 12–15 month pathway to Account Executive or Account Manager roles. Expactations: 1+ year experience in a BDR/SDR or other customer‑facing SaaS role; resilient, competitive, and coachable with a growth mindset; strong communication skills and ability to uncover pain points; organized, capable of high‑volume outreach; curious and proactive about technology and industry trends; proficiency with HubSpot and ability to meet activity, meetings booked, and pipeline targets. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and qualify opportunities within Deck’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). • Research and personalize outreach across email, calls, LinkedIn, and video. • Execute 8–12 touch cadences over 2–3 weeks focusing on 30%+ personalization. • Qualify prospects on business pain points and buying triggers. • Collaborate with Account Executives on campaigns and provide warm handoffs. • Log activity, insights, and outcomes in HubSpot to maintain clean data hygiene. • Consistently achieve activity, meetings booked, and pipeline creation targets. Required Skills: Outbound prospecting, multi‑channel outreach, HubSpot CRM data hygiene, consultative selling, strong written and verbal communication, time management, resilience, growth mindset, curiosity, self‑motivation. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no mandatory certifications (HubSpot or sales engagement tool familiarity preferred).
