**Job Title** Product Owner **Role Summary** Own and prioritize the product backlog to deliver tangible business value, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and multidisciplinary development teams. Drive product vision, strategy, and execution through Agile practices and continuous stakeholder engagement. **Expectations** - Deliver real impact by translating business goals into measurable product outcomes. - Balance commercial objectives with user needs and technical feasibility. - Communicate clearly to both business and technical audiences, building trust and setting realistic expectations. - Adapt quickly to changing client priorities and sector contexts. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Define product vision, goals, and roadmap in partnership with clients. 2. Translate objectives into a living backlog, writing clear user stories with acceptance criteria. 3. Prioritize backlog items based on value, risk, and strategic fit; protect scope as needed. 4. Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and demos, ensuring team understanding of “why.” 5. Use Agile techniques (Scrum/Kanban) to slice work into incremental, deliverable pieces. 6. Provide transparent status, risks, and next steps to stakeholders. 7. Monitor commercial impact, assess ROI, and identify opportunities for additional value. 8. Maintain product quality by focusing on UX, consistency, and long‑term maintainability. 9. Share insights, tools, and best practices with internal product community. **Required Skills** - 3+ years as Product Owner or equivalent in custom software/digital products. - Proven understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and practical application. - Strong prioritization, backlog management, and user‑story crafting abilities. - Commercial mindset: ability to discuss impact, trade‑offs, and ROI with clients. - Clear, structured communication; able to explain decisions to business and technical teams. - Trust‑building and relationship‑management skills. - Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams (business, design, engineering). - Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus. - Consultancy‑style adaptability – switching between clients and sectors. **Required Education & Certifications** - Relevant bachelor’s degree (Business, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent experience. - Agile certification (CSPO, PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master) is desirable.
