Job Title: Public Relations Graduate Associate (Hybrid – Paid Internship) Role Summary: An entry‑level, 6‑month paid internship focused on technology‑focused public relations. The Graduate Associate (GA) works cross‑functionally with client and agency teams to support media relations, client communication, and marketing initiatives, delivering high‑quality deliverables and contributing to campaign execution. Expectations: - 40+ hours per week, 6‑month duration - Hybrid schedule: office attendance 3 days per week - Paid hourly compensation - Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with collaborative teamwork Key Responsibilities: - Prepare client agendas and action items; compile competitor research - Scan news for relevant stories and assemble client‑specific media lists - Coordinate press tour pitching, scheduling, and logistics - Maintain coverage trackers, awards grids, and other internal documents - Support development, monitoring, and upkeep of client speaking and award opportunities - Research, build, manage, and audit master media lists and briefing documents - Create coverage reports and compile media clippings - Compile daily/weekly news briefs for clients and internal teams - Monitor client news; flag relevant competitor coverage - Provide media insights and fresh ideas to internal teams - Source and pitch rapid‑response opportunities - Learn and apply social media, analytics, and marketing‑PR intersection tools - Assist with day‑to‑day office management (guest greeting, call handling, meeting scheduling) Required Skills: - Proficiency with Google Drive, Slides, Docs, Sheets - Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook - Excellent time‑management, project‑management, and organizational abilities - Intermediate written, visual, and verbal communication skills - Ability to think on feet and adapt in a fast‑paced setting Required Education & Certifications: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or related fields. - No specific certifications required.
