Job Description
**Job Title** Operations Intern – Renewable Energy **Role Summary** A 6‑month full‑time internship with a focus on the daily operation and performance optimization of wind and hydroelectric assets. The intern will support asset managers, enhance monitoring processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for renewable energy production. **Expectations** - Complete the internship over 6 months, working full‑time hours. - Demonstrate a strong technical background, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills. - Show initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist asset managers with daily monitoring of wind and hydro assets (performance tracking, alarm review, intervention coordination). - Identify and implement actions to optimize production, improve economic performance, and enhance site safety. - Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, monitoring tools, and workflow methods. - Develop and refine the BaxEnergy monitoring platform: create dashboards, streamline data flows, generate analyses, and automate reporting. - Stay current on technical and regulatory developments related to renewable energy operations. **Required Skills** - Proficient in data analysis and dashboard creation. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Team‑player with good interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with Python (contributing factor). - Comfortable working in a fast‑evolving, evolving technology environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current or recent enrollment in a Bachelors (Bac+3) or higher technical degree (Engineering, Industrial, Electrical, or Information Technology). - Generalist or specialized program acceptable. ---
