Job Description
Job title: UI Developer Role Summary: Responsible for enhancing legacy web applications and building new high‑traffic defense products, delivering defect‑free, high‑performance user interfaces that meet DoD specifications. Expectations: - U.S. citizen with a current DoD SECRET clearance (TS preferred). - 5+ years of front‑end experience on DoD or large commercial programs. - Proven ability to translate design assets into responsive, browser‑agnostic web pages. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, JavaScript (React, Angular, or Knockout). - Convert Photoshop/FIGMA designs into CSS/HTML assets. - Ensure responsive design across devices and browsers. - Apply software design patterns for high reusability and maintainability. - Participate in all agile phases: design, estimation, implementation, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate directly with functional subject‑matter experts to clarify UI requirements. - Write secure code under general supervision. Required Skills: - Deep front‑end development (5+ yrs). - Proficient with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Knockout). - CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS). - Responsive/Adaptive design expertise. - Knowledge of browser/device variations. - Agile methodology experience. - Ability to work on secure DoD projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, or equivalent experience. - Current DoD SECRET clearance (TS preferred).
